Is Godzilla on PS4 worth getting at all?
I've heard it has certain control flaws and other shit but I can't deny that I'm tempted to buy it as someone who loved Destroy All Monsters Melee.
Haven't played it because of the controls but if you could find it cheap enough it might be worth a try. Bump for answers.

I was excited also but the game is trash. You just walk around a smash buildings. It's fun for a short amount of time as a Godzilla sim but if your a fan of Destroy All Monsters: Melee don't get your hopes up. The fighting in the game is straight trash. There isn't even a real block button.
Only get it if you really, REALLY like Godzilla.
If you go into it expecting a fighter you will be disappointed.

I get to smash buildings, murder the military, and beat up other freaks and mutants and machines with my favorite Godzilla monsters. I love this game.
My only complaints are I wish the story mode had more than just "Destroy generators", and that Titanosaurus, Gorosaurus, MOGUERA, Megaguirus, Orga, and Zilla aren't in it.

I have played a lot of Godzilla games and this is the worst.
The controls are weird but ok after awhile but all the monsters move way too slow for a action game. You only have 2 things you can do in this game 1. destroy generators by smashing buttons and 2. fight other monsters in a very awkward way by you guessed it smashing buttons like a fighting game noob. That's all this game has to offer, AVGN should review this because its that bad.

It's more like a simulation game. Everything is like it is in the films, so you're playing a movie. If you've ever played Godzilla Generations on the Dreamcast it's a lot like that.
