Tetris's sprint mode maybe? Or random flash games?
>>
Over the course of about a year at my office, this is what I've played. Keep in mind that my work computer is from 2009, and runs on Windows XP:

The Binding of Isaac
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II
TES IV: Oblivion
WoW
Maplestory
Half-Life 2
Civ V
various Pokemon games
LFD2

Just make sure that you aren't blatant about it. Don't leave a game open when you leave your desk, always ALT+TAB when someone is walking towards your desk, and try not to play for more than an hour at a time. At this point, I play for about 4 totals hours every work day and not a soul is aware of it

I'm not into card games but people love Hearthstone.
I'm pretty sure a match of it is really nice and quick and can get your brain working.

NEET here, how the fuck do you guys manage to play vidya at work? Isn't it 7+ hours of hard work?

lolno, at least not where I work. I come in about 2 hours before my boss and several other coworkers, and I use this time to get about 80% of my work done. After that, it's just me at my desk looking busy and occasionally forcing myself to smile while my boss tells me an unfunny story that takes 30 minutes too long

Man I want to land an office job

Fuck retail, only good thing is the occasional fuck in storage
>>
>>334264691
Are you me?

I've played nearly all the same games at work.

I even play insurgency since our company has a pretty lax network as well as blinding fast interent.

Here's a more pointed question related to OPs

What are some games ONE SALE right now that I can play. Maybe a Single Player Action Adventure? FPS maybe like doom that isn't fucking expensive right now?
>>
>tfw got an interview today

Not too excited, but this is my first job, so kind of nervous.

Any anon here has experience with being a bagger?

same here fambino, 100.0 Mbps, but I can only enjoy those speeds on a toaster. It's like driving on the Autobahn with a shopping cart

anything turn based works well, especially if you need to jump back and forth quickly.

Ask if people want their milk bagged or not.

Put bread and eggs on the top of bags or in seperate bags if you can

I believe in you.

Fortunatley I have pretty high end everything since I do a lot of IT work, Post processing effects, rendering and 3d simulation for my company.

so anyone got any good games on sale for steam right now that you'd recommend?

How do you land an IT job? Like what were your qualifications?
>>
>>334264926
that's funny because OP said he's forced to take breaks or his productivity reports look bad

DEFCON was literally invited for that.
It even has a panic button function where tapping Esc twice minimizes the game and even removes its icon from the system tray.

Don't put breakable/soft objects in the bottom of the bag

Don't overstuff the bag, unless the customer specifically asks you to

Always offer to escort the elderly to their cars, as well as pregnant women and cripples

Keep yourself occupied by keeping an eye out for shoplifters. If you spot someone shoplifting, let the cashier know. You will definitely get recognition for it

By studies you mean like uni or external courses?
>>
>>334266312
Almost nothing.

I was expelled from college years ago, I got a job as a web designer by convincing a friend of mine to vouch for me. I learned on the job as quickly as possible and then just took things from there.

I started my own firm a few years later and it was good for awhile until the market gave way to things like Squarespace and shit like that work dried up for me so I just went job hunting while delivering pizza for cash and eventually found a place looking for a "business admin"

Basically just dressed up my resume to look as pro as possible and got my foot in the door and invaded every department I could until I became an essential part of the team.

I now am responsible for a wide variety of the company's day to day operations including accounting.

Uni of course, looks way better on paper. But it all depends on how "big" you want to hit. If just any IT work and slowly getting higher and higher is fine, courses are ok.

Or you can go with >>334266646

>work in logistics
>mix of all kinds of task
>a lot of it back fatiguing heavy lifting
>lots of walking around all over for quality control
>occasional cold inducing outdoor work at trash compressors
There's so little opportunity to slack despite being allowed to freely take drink and bathroom breaks. Best I can do is disappear in a bathroom stall for a short while once, maybe twice.
>>
>>334266861
Because there's constant check of progress with rest of the team for you.
Really now, it all depends on work.
