Sega at their hayday arguably could be called more creative than Nintendo.
Samba de Amigo, Jet Set Radio, Panzer Dragoon, Shenmue, Nights, Burning Rangers, the list goes on.
It's a shame that things didn't work out for them. They were forerunners in the industry in hardware, software, design.

You know we're getting Shenmue 1 + 2 HD ports, it's practically fucking guaranteed.
First, Sega gives those people the right to do Shenmue 3, then Shenmue 3 becomes real.
The creator or w/e says it's up to Sega to comment on Shenmue 1 & 2 ports/HD ports.
Leaks years ago (from very reputable sources that were always right) said Sega's been sitting on fully completed ports for a while and just waiting for Shenmue 3 to become a thing before releasing them.
