Gameplay is extremely fun with a lot going on in terms of combat and character progression/customization. The only complaint I have is that it really needs to let you skip all combat animations instead of just Performances, because I feel like 50% of my fucking playtime was just watching Sessions happen.
Story is mostly boring-as-fuck and forgettable, though a few of the characters are likable as far as animu stereotypes go. Presentation's okay I guess, though for a game about music the soundtrack is entirely forgettable outside of some of the insert songs. The game also felt like it was dragging on for me towards the end.
All in all, bretty gud/10.
Tsubasa a shit though. Not worst girl because Mamori exists and is the most boring character in the game, but easily second-worst.

It does get pretty obnoxious eventually.
Bearing in mind that by the time you have Open Audition on everyone you'll be doing at least 7 attacks per session, more with Dual Arts, and each one takes 2-4 seconds, so you're looking at a solid 15-20 seconds of just watching animations almost every single time you attack. And once you get EX Session skills they take longer.
Considering how much of the game is spent in battle and how often you're going to be doing Sessions it's not an exaggeration to say that watching Session animations makes up a solid chunk of the playtime, and towards the end I was starting to get a little annoyed by it.
Game would really benefit from having the skip animation button affect all animations so you could just speed through them. Of all things, Neptunia got this right.
