Im interested on buying a PSP-3000 for 60$, does it emulate PS1-N64 games well enough?
>PS1
Pretty good, it uses the same method as the PS2 to run PS1 games.
>N64
There is a N64 emulator, but it's more experimental than reliable at this point.

Its alright. I would rather save up and get a vita. Should be cheap as fuck right about now
>>345457748
It doesn't emulate PS1 it plays them natively, so must are perfect. As far as N64 it can only play a handful of games well. At the end of the day you have a 333MHz system emulating a 100MHz CPU so you have to accept the limitations. It's still worth it IMO, there's tons of great PSP/PS1 games and emulators that run perfect. NES, SNES, SEGA, MAME, etc.

>N64
>PS1
Works very well, since it's semi-native.
>N64
Useless.
>>345457748
PS1 is mostly flawless, might as well not bother with N64
>>345459937
A few games play OK, Super Mario 64 being one IIRC. Even more work if you disable audio. Overall though N64 emulation has always been kind of shit.
>>345459176
But Vita as for today can't be emulated properly and the future doesn't look good

>PSP 3000
>60 bucks
Why would anyone bother with the objectively shittiest model?
>>345461024
lmao spotted the 2000 owner
>>345461024
That's the Street, faggot.

>mono audio
>no wireless
>no permanent CFW
Cant say I agree
>>345457748
PS1 emulation is nearly perfect on it.
Only downside is that you'll need to find fixes for games that required the DualShock controller (looking at you, Ape Escape).
>>345461841
But Ape Escape got a PSP port.
>>345461841
I think Ape Escape is the only good game that makes use of it right? I can live without Ape Escape
