The only problem with it is that it still pulls you in, even if you stun the guy. It doesn't even play the animation of him pulling you, but you still fly towards him from an invisible force.

It's the hitbox of the hook, just like with Hanzo's arrows. Other projectiles are getting nerfed next patch, but not the hook.

I still think they're doing the smaller hitboxes for projectiles to prove a point in PTR in that if they were stricter, other heroes would suffer from it just as much, if not, more than Hanzo.

His whole design philosophy is that if you get hooked, he will do a shitton of damage.

The problem is that hook is braindead easy to land and has a hitbox that's a kilometer long vertically. Favoring the shooter is fine (in kill cams your kills also look questionable), but I wish I could see the pings of other players in the server. It makes baiting hook a huge gamble because if they have more than 125 ping it's suicide.

Yeah but he's shit at being an actual tank so 's he has no armor or ways to actually TANK for his team, so without his hook combo he's useless. Unless you want him to have much less damage but have hook have a shorter cool down or something.

It's more that i'd like to see him function as an actual tank, right now it just seems like hes there to make it 4 of each type of character, even though like you said, hes shit at being an actual tank.

Just something be it from not calling him a tank and making the damage he does actually make fucking sense but still do something to make him not steamroll most people in damn near every situation, or even just make him function like an actual tank with a pull.

This is pretty much how I played WoW when I was the main tank in a raiding guild.

It works pretty well for that kind of game.

Less sure about an FPS though, which is all muscle memory and hand eye coordination, just makes him sound autistic or a MAtrix wannabe.
