Coco was supposed to be playable, a lot of cutscenes were ditched (but had storyboards and voice acting), and a whole lot of levels were cut, including some parts with that surfboard from crash 2, a level set inside coco's mind, and a level set inside cortex's mind (and the music in that level was going to be acapella, like the rest of the game, but made with cortex's voice actor's voice only)
