Doesn't actually play cartridges, it plays "pre-installed games".
It's more or less just an official version of things like the handheld Genesi (is that how you pluralize Genesis?).
So... I don't see the point, really.

Hipster bait, will sell like hotcakes so those faggots can be so retro. None will actually get played past the first half hour though.

Its £49.99 for 30 games and a console. I think its really good value.
>paying for roms
Shit like this has been available bootleg for years. Surprised Nintendo took so long to cash in on it.

Consider that you can pay nothing and play it on you TV/Cell phone/Computer
Google nigga. Use it.
And only those 30 games, no more to be introduced in the foreseeable future.
>>345319702
meh, it looks cool but unless people find a way to play more games on it, won't buy it.
it will sell really well though

And you can't install your own games.
I know that because the way all console companies justify stopping users using their *own hardware* is always "bwut piracy", and this won't be the exception.

It would have been so cool if Nintendo released mini-carts for it that looked like old NES Carts, all having a new set of games on it.
Then again, Rumor has it the NX will have mini-carts, so maybe that's why they didn't - To make the NX seem cooler.
Why not just download an emulator and plug in a USB NES controller?
>>345321249
It's not even that. They would still encrypt/lock the "mini-carts". You couldn't create an adapter to connect an original NES cart into the mini-NES.

>a new set of games
and people complain about indie garbage; only literal numale hipsters would want new nes games
