The bottom line is it's a middling platformer at best and that's being generous(judging off the first 2 games. I'm sure the third is great, I'm sure Xenosaga 3 is great too, but 2 strikes are my limit personally) but you're allowed to like cause it has some fun/cute art at least.

The artwork is very appealing to most people including myself. Not all but about maybe half or less care about gameplay and the series in general, despite not being anything new.
Potential for porn is a keeper, even if you never actually play the games and one shouldn't underestimate that.

I'm not thrilled about HGH returning to the dance system for power ups. I liked the item-based system from Pirate's Curse much better. The dancing kills the pace (even RR's simplified dancing) and you can't link abilities or use multiple powers at the same time. Unlike in PC where you could do shit like speed boost charge, jump, float with the hat, and do a downward stab attack in one fluid motion.
