More to come.

I'm interested, keep going

what happened to this game? Lots of hype, release... then nothing
>>345297337
I didn't even feel the pre-release hype
>>345297337
Beats me. Same question I asked before I bought it. Looks like it'll be another cult-release like the previous.
But the combat is probably what tore people away from it. You COULD just spam one heavy-attack button and complain its OP, but I find it more fun to just vary the combat for the sake of variation.
Most people would rather complain rather than take the initiative.

The game will have upgrades with a bunch of normal moves locked behind those, is open world with generic delivery missions and you can fucking bet they'll make it a boring system.
>>345297337
the thing that people liked about the first game was the gameplay and what people disliked was the story
so in the sequel, they decided to limit the gameplay and have a focus on story
>>345294247
This is out? Way to drop the ball, marketing team.
>since june

I read a review that praised the decision to remove the option in this game to pick up and use enemy guns.
How can anybody possibly feel that way after playing the original? It was so satisfying to kick a policeman, steal his gun, and finally mow down the pursuit cops that had been chasing me across the whole city.
Because Sarkeesian worked on it.

Did they fix not being able to rebind keys on the PC?
>>345297636
>talking as if it hasn't come out yet
Games aight
>>345298110
I feel if people enjoyed the first one, they'll get around to enjoying the second (once you unlock the essential set of moves, which only takes about an hour or two)
Why are the colors so washed out??
>>345299269
This. Does this game have no shadowing?
>>345299269

>so in the sequel, they decided to limit the gameplay and have a focus on story
Catalyst has just as much gameplay to story ratio to the orignal
>>345299269
Which pics are you referring to?
>>345299269
DICE's "artistic vision"
>>345299547
All of them

Fix your monitors. Looks fine to me.
>>345299463
they still limit the gameplay, it's the main compalint
does the gameplay pause when this happens?
>>345300060
I'm usually critical about games, but a game like Mirror's Edge...I can look pass whatever flaws this game may exhibit just because you can just launch the game free of care and literally get lost in it while enjoying the soundtrack (original composer is back) and just taking in the art direction of the game. Ironically, the one of the best parts of this game is not running or fighting, but holding down the walk button and taking in all the sights.
>>345300131
to specify, does the gamplay pause when doing these screenshots?
>>345300060
The limit gameplay no more than the original did, you'd know this had you actually played the game
>>345300131
If you're referring to ANSEL, yes. Just press ALT+F2 (kind of tricky, don't know if you can change it though)

I guess missing your essential moves at the being of the game isnt limited, even though that didnt happen in the first game
>>345299269
Just realized what you meant. The artifacts on buildings are not present when actually in the game.
>>345297337
There was no hype. I learned of it like a week before release.
Nobody bought it because Origin+Denuvo combo.
And making a speedrunning game open world is a stupid as fuck idea especially when the world just consists of intercrossing routes which you backtrack throughout the game.

That doesn't become any more true the more you repeat it.

Aren't these supposed to be at a much higher resolution?
