I wouldn't have minded it that much if there were more than 20 good pokemon from the gen. I couldn't even make a full team by the time I hit the E4 because I could not find enoughg pokemon that didn't make me want to vomit. Half of them looked like chinese knockoffs of Gen 1-4 pokemon.
Plus theres the embarrassingly horrible starters made the game shit from the get-go.
And the garbage that was weather wars. And the shitty and forgettable characters and gym leaders. And the ugly designs on EVERYTHING. And the fact that the region forced you into a straight line with almost no deviations.
And that you didn't unlock hard mode until after you beat the game. And it had the worst use of the bottom screen of the DS games.

The story in B/W was shit anyway. The twist was ridiculously predictable, Pokemon battling has been A-OK with the Pokemon themselves since the first game, N is a fucking retard, there's a bigger focus on it than previous entries so it being shitty is much more noticeable, the game is more linear because the story is more involved and I could keep going. Pokemon games aren't judged by their story for a reason and by trying to change that B/W fucked up pretty bad.
