Bloodborne is overrated crap. It's higly regarded only because it is the only midly acceptable PS4 exclusive. It is a sloppy and casualized Souls clone, which bets more on the look of the game rather than on its substance.
Both Demon Souls and DaS1 are way better VIDEOGAMES, but apparently worst cinematic experiences.

I doubt you have played Bloodborne, it's as far from a cinematic experience as can be.
I do think it's overrated though. The base game bosses are overall mediocre (the ones in the DLC are great), the weapons are even more unbalanced than in Souls games, and while the game has amazing aesthetics, the main city looks far too samey all around.

Demon Souls is complete garbage. A fucking terrible game. Dark Souls 1 is much better, but DS2, 3 and BB are WAY better.
What makes me sad is that DaS3 took away many of the problems of DaS2 but they took it way too far and removed most of the improvements it brought because "MUH TRUE TO THE FIRST GAME"

I honestly prefer Dark Souls II lore to Dark Souls III lore. Sure DSII has a lot of awful NPC dialogs and the "kingdoms come and go remember lordran???" part IS really terrible, but the parts about the king and the giants, the king's brother's experiments and so on is really good. Dark Souls III went back to the more subtle approach, which is good, but also fucked up because the game doesn't feel like a singular location - and it isn't supposed to be according to "the flame drew together a bunch of places".
Disregarding some weird area transitions Drangleic still feels like a location compared to Lothric.
And Dark Souls II gameplay is miles above Dark Souls III. Miracle and Magic builds are still fun in that game, theres more options in regards to how you progressive the game, way more variety in terms of armor and weapons.
Dark Souls III is good, but it manages to be even blander than Dark Souls II.
