How about an armor thread, /v/?

Cheers for that, but I was thinking more video game related stuff.

I thought you were going for a general armor thread. Gonna see what vidya stuff I got.

Since it's just you and me here it seems, I don't mind you posting whatever you got. I just figured we could do video games related stuff first and then move onto IRL ones if need be.
We could always post IRL stuff that served to inspire something that was placed in a game.
For example, this was used to inspire the Cainhurst head piece from Bloodborne.

Does this type of helmet have a name because it's pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen.

It's parade stuff, not really meant to be worn into battle of any kind.
> This superb example of Italian Renaissance sculpture in steel was made by Filippo Negroli, the leading master of embossed armour in the antique style. The embossed ornament of acanthus scrolls inhabited by putti is inspired by classical prototypes. The reclining mermaid forming the comb of the helmet holds the head of Medusa, whose stare was reputed to turn the onlooker into stone.
Dragon's Dogma will always be the GOAT for armor. It has so many fucking layers.

I just wish there were more armors.
