Better hope the Ti doesn't come out in less than 6 months time and BTFO the regular 1080 at the exact same price point like happened to me with my regular 780. $650 day one, no hint of a Ti at all, 5 months later hello 780 Ti that is 33% faster for the same $650. Fuck that, never again.

No fuck off. There's waiting a few months for a much better card at the same price, and there's waiting years for a much better generation. 1080 Ti isn't far off, I guarantee it.

60 FPS is noticeably worse than 144 in every game except for a few that have drawn animations with set framerates, and even they would look better if they were animated in 144.

Not at all, this is my rig and I can easily get 144 in every game by lowering graphics settings (never resolution) most of the time I still get 144 on medium, though I'd happily settle for low

I readily admit it would be superior, but the graphics are important in the wither 3,and i'm not willing to buy a 1080 to play it at that fps. Even worse is i can't think of any upcoming game worth buying such a expensive GPU for.

Where'd a 14 year old like you who can't even take a clear picture with an expensive digital camera get money for that?
and the answer is no, you didn't. The heatsink fins on that card face towards the walls of your case but your case is designed from length-wise positive pressure airflow and obvious by the front fans.
Enjoy your noise and high FPS in games that waste your life and then being upset in your adulthood because you wasted your time on shite 2015 computer games but you care about having the "highest quality" everything so you're depressed about your mediocre job and girlfriend and small house while you constantly compare it to what everyone else has (but hey at least you can still afford high end nvidia GPUs) then you go on to die contributing nothing to humanity and remaining irrelevant.

>Caviar Blue is not the best of choice for a single HDD. Choose black if this is your only HDD instead.

I'll grab black instead. Thanks.

Why would you wait 6 months? Using the best card on the market for 6 months isn't exactly a bad thing. I never know if the people who say shit like this even play games, if you play fairly regularly 6 months is a lot of gametime. I remember when the 1080 came out, people were making fun of the 980Ti. Why? They were at the top for a fucking year.

There's nothing terribly wrong with used per se. I wouldn't recommend it for AMD's 7970 and R9 280X because those are bitcoin mining cards, but GTX shouldn't be problematic so long as you can see the card perform. Know the figures in benchmark well and have the card demo'd to you live before you buy.

Nigga it's viable for EVERYTHING. I don't play multiplayer games at all and I could never go back to anything under 144hz. Even 80fps is noticably better and smoother. I can even tell the difference between 120 and 144. People who say 144 is 'diminishing returns' literally have shitty eyesight.

>>345141163
>talks about diminishing returns\
>puts everything on ultra

The irony. In the Witcher 3 (or any game for that matter) Ultra setting ARE a diminishing return. There's virtually no difference in almost every setting fro TW3 from high to ultra, the extra frames are much more worth it.

>people put shadows on ultra

Literally the biggest diminishing returns setting there is, put them on medium and you gain 20 fps. The 'quality drop' is microscopic.

750ti is a workhorse, xbone to ps4 quality card depending on game and settings. Basically supplaneted by the 950 at this point though if your PSU can take it.

the really unique factor of the 750ti is the reference versions not needing any power connectors so I runs great on ultrapoorfag machines or prebuilts.
