in my particular case i didn't even think the game looked good. however, a long time ago i borrowed mega man legends from a friend who was absolutely obsessed with the megaman franchise and i never returned it (not on purpose just forgot about it found it many years later when unpacking some shit from storage). my plan was to get all the signed shit from inafune and surprise him with it in addition to returning the game as a sign of goodwill/something i figured would blow his mind.
i will still do this, but its a shame the actual game/ip turned out to be so bad.
