Did Ghost turn out any good? I kind of got sick of Kamen Rider after Drive. Drive was great, don't get me wrong, but I stopped caring after watching it for whatever reason.
So lemme get this straight...
Using weird game cartridges (that can actually work as plug and play games) the hero transforms but the forms work as levels.
Level 1 is actually an sd warrior, all short and stubby.
By fully opening the driver, level 2 is reached, being that the actual rider form.
By using a second cartridge alongside the first one, level 3 can be activated, being like a dragon version of the actual form.
This is gonna be weird as hell, i mean, if lv1 is a form, how they will expect to buy us a sd live action rider fighting, are they gonna use midgets or something?

Anyone else think that Birth really wasn't supposed to be Date, but they somehow were able to hire his actor and made him Birth instead of Goto? I'm sure Goto's actor wasn't pleased with that which would explain why they had that asspull of making a Proto-Birth to let him have his turn at being a rider too.
We know it's not unheard of for Rider series to change story or plans after the series has started.

Haven't enjoyed Ghost at all, but after Gaim which was amazing, Drive was a good follow up. I think watching it after a full on series like Gaim is bad though, since it's much slower.

Before they revealed the Date character, they were already signalling really hard in earlier episodes that Goto was going to be Birth. So it was really weird when Date suddenly pops out of nowhere and suddenly overtakes Goto and becomes Birth instead. Even weirder still how Goto only became birth when it was already pretty late in the series.
I wish I could ask the director or writer, what really happened or what the original direction was supposed to be or if this really was what was supposed to happen

Having a video game themed Kamen Rider with collectable game cartridges as a toy incentive is pretty damn good marketing. It's a perfect thing that kids would just want every single one of.
