It's pretty fun, but fucking tough as nails
I play on the default storyteller but rough difficulty and I never even get above 10 or so people

How is it content-wise? Is there enough there to make a $30 price-tag reasonable?

I pirated it for now, but I got a few dozen hours easily out of it.
If you like the genre, as in games like Dwarf Fortress, you can dump unholy amounts of time into it.

The game already has a surprising amount of depth- there's bodyparts and diseases for all of them with the corresponding medical fixes and handicaps, a temperature system actually affecting your people and stuff like your food, a modd system with various factors working into it, a semi-living world with factions, relations between people (like invaders can actually be family members of your people),a good amount of different jobs and stuff to craft or build, enemies that will acltually switch up their tactics and sap through your defenses or siege your base with mortars, unlike DF where you can make your fort inpenetrable, and the 'storyteller' ramps up the difficulty in accord with your progression, so if you're a beginner it goes slower than if you'tre a minmaxing pro- or you turn it off and go full basebuilding

There's probably more I'm missing, but I've already played the game enough to warrant a purchase when it eventually comes out of beta

I always play in arctic biomes and build a cavebase

Also you can capture enemies, harvest their organs and then sell both them and their organs on the black market, which is pretty rad

You see that sperg on r/rimworld? Normally it's not so bad for leddit, but this one guy was claiming that the devs are bad people because they used mods as vanilla features. What a fucking moron

Every community is bound to have a few retards

Did they changed the artstyle? It's shit.

I mean there's nothing wrong with taking a popular mod that adds features to the game that people like, and implementing it as a vanilla feature.

So long as you're not stealing story content or anything like that from the mod community.
>>
>>345082036
That's what I'm saying, he was pissed off because they used a feature that should have been in the game to begin with.

>try to find the post
>he got so many downvotes he deleted his account
