so why not discuss it somewhere where the demographic is relevant that will incite a levelheaded discussion instead of baiting trolls into getting Nintenfucks mad?

It's called brand reinforcement. Casuals loved Nintendo all along and Nintendo was trying to reach them by catering to them.

The reality is that casuals don't need to be catered to. They can be sold on brand recognition alone. Casuals love the Marios, Zeldas, and Pokemons. Sell them their retro nostalgic games. It's what all the kids are emulating on their iPhones.
>>
>All games I can get for free via emulation

*yawn* everyone else is doing remasters now and Nintendo is barely catching up to upscaled classics.
>>
>>345067605
>Barely catching up

New super mario bros
Mario Advance 1-2-3-4
Metroid Zero mission
Nightmare in Dreamland
Pokemon FR/LG/HG/SS/ORAS
OoT/MM/WW/TP HD.
FE: Shadow Dragon

New Super Mario Bros was an entirely new Super Mario Bros game. It was not a remake of the original or anything close.
>>
>Game company wants to sell its games
>People say "lol why would people buy that when they could get it for free lol"

Just remember that when someone says "OMG pirating does not affect sales!!"
>>
>>345067836
I mean REAL remasters. Imagine Nintendo remastering/remaking Ocarina of Time like Square is doing for FF7? That would be the hypes announcement at E3 ever.

Imagine that reveal of Twilight Princess but one-hundredfold.

>Copyrighting a basic word in the english language

What fucking kikes

This wtf?
>Candy Crush tries to copyright 'Candy'
>KIKES REEEEEEEEE GTFO
>Nintendo copyrights 'classics'
>*crickets*

It's ok when Nintendo does it
>>

That's any game, PCmen.
