I don't even think I was trying to get all the achievements, so I don't remember why I did that quest (and every other sidequest).
It was pretty bad, but it wasn't farming 30 accords from silver knights on the Anor Londo staircase bad. I shouldn't have done that on my first playthrough, because it killed all the enjoyment I had for Dark Souls 3. Getting all the achievements in that game was just fucking tedious with the broken online system.
