syndicate was made by the B team
literally A team made unity, and then they had every single team pitch in and help complete unity because it was a massive undertaking then journalistic cabal and all its "greatness" shat on it day 1
also syndicate is massively shorter, light on content, graphically inferior, has less to do, has less unlocks, the combat is inferior, has no multiplayer, the season pass and all its DLC was dog shit, its side missions were shit too
also comparatively because i was genuinely curious and im that big of a fan of the series, i ran unity, compared the FPS, then i ran syndicate, and actually syndicate was on par with the same FPS as unity. so... all the shitposting and everything amounted to nothing because it just ran like shit on ps4 as well.
i ended up getting it for PC because it was shit fps on console and there was no multiplayer component anyway
