I used to, but Men of Warfags kept invading my threads shilling their stupid game so hard

Coh is a hidden gem of a game. The soundtrack is really great. This track still gives me the goosebumps.

Not much to talk about. When they moved the game to Steam they basically kinda killed the team multiplayer with the sniper changes.
1v1 meta is very stale and my heart's just not in it anymore.
I haven't played the second one. Why do people here not like it?

It's better than it was previously, because they removed a bunch of really bad 'features' of the game, but there are a lot of reasons. I think everyone dislikes the fact that the game has had performance issues for most of its life cycle, that the voice acting is a huge step back from the first game, that the infantry combat is out of whack, that they keep wildly swinging the game around patch to patch with insane balance changes, etc.
They did finally get rid of the insane blizzard / freezing mechanics, though. I'll give them that. It's still a very weird game in a lot of respects.
The Oberkommando infantry units, for instance, are incredibly strong -- like CoH1 Tommy strong -- while the Wehrmacht infantry forces explode almost instantly to any kind of attack. It's just very strange and it feels like they don't really understand how to create a coherent game anymore.
After Tales of Valor, none of this should have been surprising. Relic has really lost it, sadly.
