I think Earthbound is a very bad game. People who like it do so either because of 12 year old nostalgia or because they champion quirky gimmicks and story over good gameplay. The art style and music and setting are interesting but the gameplay is awful.
I really like MGS5 and think it's a great game despite the cut content.
Gone Home is a great experience with horrible gameplay but a really good story and experience to play through once.
Mighty No. 9 is pretty good, better than MegaMan X games after 3.
Smash 4 is better than Melee.
FarCry Primal is the best one.
Super Mario RPG is shit.
undertale is one of the greatest games ever made

I unironically think every entry into the Elder Scrolls series is miles better then it's predecessor. Yes, I think Skyrim blows Oblivion and Morrowind out of the water.I also unironically think video games these days are fucking incredible and only getting better. There's lots of games I thoroughly enjoyed from way back when, but these days there are just so many excellent games. I believe we are in a gaming golden age and everything is just getting better and better. Sure, there's plenty of shitty games out, but that's ALWAYS been the case. Just these days it's a hell of a lot easier to find a great game and more great games are coming out more often.

Oh, it can be planned, whether it works in practice or not is another story, and that's what I meant, I have tried it with other shooters and my expectation has come to be "The game recognizes the controller" and that's it, no thought put into if it can be fun or even playable as such. This is the time when I have to spend half am hour making adjustments in the settings cause their defaults are just atrocious.

I've been playing M&B Warband for five years and I still can't aim for shit in it.
I cheated my way through the Ace Attorney games.
I keep buying games new and never playing them, and I can't stop. I probably have over 50 PS3, PS4, 3DS, and Vita games that I haven't even taken out of the case yet.
Im a huge Metal Gear fan and I loved MGSV, I thought it had a good story, I thought the characters were great and the twist was brilliant.
I liked Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Heroes
I watched Dunkey's Undertale video and that made me play it, but I now refuse to play any further than where I am in the game (only about 90 mins in) due to the obnoxious fucking fanbase and the people who praise the ever loving shit out it. I think it's LGBTQ+ scenes are pandered and only put in to gain support or draw controversy.
I think the Modern Warfare series (CoD4:MW, MW2, and MW3) are cinematically and storywise some of the best storytelling out there, definitely action move material.
Persona 4 Golden got me out of depression
I think Street Fighter V is fun and will carry Capcom forward with the series, though I do think exclusivity hit it hard.
Minecraft is fun, and Notch is an anti-SJW based god on Twitter.

I fucking love Minecraft. I can't play vanilla anymore, but I love those fuckhuge modpacks that add tons of shit to the game. I'm currently balls deep in Sky Factory. Start with a single tree and a single block of dirt in a void world and build a platform, generate food, power, and basically just make your base in the sky all from that single tree and block of dirt. Completely this. There's just something way more appealing about going out and buying a game on disc, compared to just downloading it through Steam. It gets me way more excited to play the game. Also having a machine entirely dedicated to gaming makes me play stuff everytime I turn on my PS4, where as I only even play games on PC when my friends are as well.

I was doing a playthrough of Jagged Alliance v1.13 on expert with no cheats, got right up to the end and was having a blast until I hit the sections where there are tanks surrounding the entirety of Meduna.
I didn't feel like walking back through the whole map again to collect LAWs so I just dropped the game, and I couldn't get back into it again.

I recently started listening to "Grammar Girl", which is a short podcast (something like 10-15 minutes on average per podcast) about elements of English grammar that are pretty interesting. In short bursts it might be okay, though I suppose you'd lose the train of thought if you went in and out of it.
If you're looking for two guys talking back and forth you might like "Car Talk", which was a podcast (I'm sure it's online, though one of the brothers died) where two brothers who are automechanics would get calls from people about their cars and problems and they'd try to solve them, and they're both real characters.
I'm pretty new to podcasts myself, or I'd give you more suggestions, but there you go.

I played Undertale last year and loved it. The Pacifist final boss and ending actually made me pretty emotional.
Then some time after I beat it I saw a thread on /vg/ and realised just how shit the fandom is.
I think JRPG are boring, and i've tried to like them: Final Fantasy VII, Parasite Eve, Chrono Trigger. Boring. But i haven't even tried any WRPG. The closest thing to a RPG i've enjoyed is Jade Empire.
The Batman: Arkham games are my favorite games of all time, not only that, i'm kinda obsessed with them: while i'm walking on the streets or trying to sleep, i'm thinking in things i would add to improve them or thinking in Batman lore or wishing to have Batman's gadgets. But i think is just that i tend to obsess with stuff: before Batman, i was obsessed with football stuff (the real one, not handegg), and before that with Resident Evil. I have to force myself to play other vidya.

I used to adjust my view a few inches downards to watch what my opponent was doing in Halo Combat Evolved MultiplayerI still do it sometimes.
I am playing this game and enjoying it far more then I should.
