It's a spellcasting arena game that takes elements of card games.
You create a 'deck' of spells from hundreds of abilities and start the match with a random draw of spells. Over the match you can switch out your spells with new spells from your deck if you want to adjust to the situation. The actual combat is real time however. Was fun as fuck to create bullshit combos and try them out. The story, atmosphere, and aesthetic were also fantastic.
