/v/ just has hyper inflated standards due to triple A games actually being consistently good that the standards for video games have risen so much that nobody can meet them. An 8/19 game is merely "alirhgt" now.
/v/ is either filled with too many underagefags or nostalgiafags to remember back in the day how bad games where. There was more variety from major publishers, yes, but there was WAY less quality control. Even top of the line games were super buggy, and that's not including all the shovelware, which is basically nonexistant now.
And that's not even getting into objective advancements in graphics and audio quality and such.
Fuck, i'm not even that old, and even I remember half the god damn time you put an n64 cartridge into the console it just straight up wouldn't read the damn thing and you had to take it out and blow in it 5 times before it finally worked, and then shit froze prett frequently too.

What's most baffling about Black Ops 3 is that there's no team balance whatsoever.
If a team is 2vs6, it'll stay that way until more players join in, and you can't do anything about it since you can't change teams.
Even fucking MW2 had team balancing for fucks sake.
