Replica.
Replica is a puzzle game by a South Korean developer that puts you in the shoes of a prisoner being coerced to break into a phone and find evidence of terrorism. Throughout the entire game, the thinly veiled nefarious government is telling you to misinterpret the teenager's rebellious actions as being dissident and plotting in nature.
I need you all to understand that throughout the entire game it's stated, over and over, that this kid's need for secrecy and privacy is completely reasonable. In several of the endings, it even states that continually breaking into phones doesn't reduce counts of terrorism and crime.
And then, in one of the final, hidden endings that requires beating the game four times to get, you find out that the kid is actually a terrorist, was plotting all this time (complete with a big red button on his phone that states INITIATE TERROR ATTACK) that all his secrecy and privacy was him hiding his plotting and dissident actions.
It still attempts to portray him in a sympathetic and victimized light. South Koreans are obviously fucking idiots. Get waterboarded, punk.

It's a dungeon crawler made by Imageepoch (They made stuff like Stella Glow and Luminous Arc), you get up to 8 classes, you can customize your party members, you kill dragons to upgrade your base, you can date your party (and have gay or hetero sex with them).
It's pretty fun.

It's surprisingly active so far if you're used to smaller communities, and I don't think it's gonna fall off much. There's a pretty popular streamer that's been playing it consistently, too, so that helps.
$30 is a bit crazy for it, in my opinion, but if you have a friend to go half with, $15 is great. Just make sure you don't get it on PC -- there's no anti-cheat and it's pretty dead, besides.
I thought I was going to hate the snap to first person, but it honestly doesn't feel that bad in-game.

Today it felt like I was the victim of a twisted cosmic joke. I tried playing Overwatch and was faced with the usual issue of getting disconnected every 5 minutes because nobody from Blizzard has given any sort of advice or anything resembling a solution.
So then I gave up on that, booted up XCOM 2 and instantly got fucked by an Avenger Defense mission. Within the first turn, a thunderstorm knocked out my electricity for about four hours.
Power came back on while I was getting exceptionally bad luck in Fire Emblem Fates so I decided to start up XCOM again. Got through the mission and then my next mission was a "protect the device" one. An alien shot said device and it caught on fire, exploding a few turns later and making me fail the mission because of something totally out of my control. I just said fuck it and sat around like an asshole bitching on 4chan all night. Some bizarre force really did not want me playing vidya today.

I really want to get into Rimworld again but honestly I've played 200+ hours and it's just not going anywhere. It's a very static game where you do the same shit every time. The map isn't quite big enough to handle HEUG building space, and your colonists move too slowly to have them super spread out. So the creativity is pretty limited and things end up looking rather boxy and spartan.
I love the game and have extensively modded it but it's still the same core game as it was a year ago, so I'm pretty much done with it.
Also played rocket league with /v/ and some shovel knight because I'm a masochist and can't beat it.

You can counter brainers with normal melee and shotguns will destroy them. If the situation isn't in your favor, quickly go prone.
Brainer rushing worked pretty well week 1, but a lot of players know how to counterplay now -- especially when you're in a lobby with JP, because they tend to be annoyingly patient. It mainly works well as a mixup tactic.
Currently playing a mobile game at work. Mobile strike. It keeps me busy when im waiting for clients. Packs are fucjing ridiculously expensive though.
