What are some good games like this to play while we wait for EFT? I've played Stalker and Arma, what else is there? Is Squads any good? dare i say... homefront? I'm desperate here /v/v
Squad is very close to realism. I have played it for one week now and its amazing imo. Waiting on Escape from trakov. But I guess I will stick to squad for like 6 months at least.

STALKER really isn't close to Squad and ARMA, it really shouldn't be in the same sentence. If you're going to put STALKER in there, you might as well toss in like Metal Gear Solid as well.
Although the ballistics, tactics, ect aren't close to realistic, the actual models for Battlefield 4 are, and they've got a fuck ton of well rendered weapons.

I haven't heard much info released about it, only seen a few videos that showed off some gameplay but nothing on why or what your goal is.
I'm actually sort of hoping that it's like inspired by Escape from New York, and just a weird Russian take on that. Like, you get dropped into Tarkov to pick up some McGuffin, secure it and get out with the McGuffin in a certain amount of time, and everyone else is going after the same thing.
