Is my favorite DQ personally, it had great WRPG elements, couple with great JRPG elements. People that dislike it are just insecure wanna be goku's.
I know I over did it, but I really have no idea why it gets so much hate when is the deepest DQ game out there gameplay wise and content by far.

it's actually my favorite DQ game, what I liked about that game was being to chance to vocation at will once you get the spell so you don't have to run back at the All-trade Abbey. I liked name my characters after Dragon Ball names.

I'm generally not a fan of the series, but DQIX was alright. Out of the ones I've tried, it and the original DQ are the only two I enjoyed enough to finish.
I love the game so fucking much, but loading it up is so fucking awkward it nearly puts me off playing. There's something about this theme that makes me think I'm about to play some mobile piece of shit and I'm firmly of the opinion that the DQ composer has completely lost his compositional skills over the years.
