In theory, it could be great. It's the ideal material. However they haven't made that style of game since S&M Season 3 which I'm sure was like 2009 or something silly.

Top-notch designs freed from a thoroughly horrible modeler? Bombastic personalities written by someone with actual writing experience?

I wouldn't even care if it was just another paint by numbers Telltale experience, I'd take it. I'm still every bit in love with MN9 on a conceptual level as I was when the Kickstarter launched. It's a case of high-quality ingredients getting absolutely butchered by an incompetent chef.
