I really don't see any new games worth upgrading my 5 year old pc when everything that comes out is some roguelike that requires no power or a cod clone. What have I missed in the last 3years or what are some upcoming games that would make it worth it to upgrade?

Doom is pretty neat with a high framerate on ultra settings
if there's been nothing on PC that you want to play, maybe PC isn't for you

Total War Warhammer is pretty damn good. I was impressed by Elite Dangerous but I've also played the shit out of its predecessors so the regular tropes of space games aren't a problem for me.
