Not him, but I've encountered freezes on very heavy disk activity (mouse is unresponsive, but working again after the disk calms down). From what I've read, it's a problem with the generic Microsoft disk controller driver and particular disk controllers.
Also had BSODs from Synaptic touchpad drivers, but those seem to have gone away.
