I want it but here are my concerns :
-Originally, about 4 classes were planned (don't know the exact number but some trailers show different kinds of characters). There's now only one, with armor sets and of course weapons that can be found in chests or as loot in general.
Apparently, two more classes at least were ready (brute and aracanist), but at this point the devs are saying it's likely going to be DLC, provided the game sells well.
-Weapons : The weapons seems different enough at this point, short and longswords, axes, greatswords, spears, I hear you can even craft spells and there are ranged weapons, but for now it's always going to be shield+weapon. No two handed weapons as of right now, which is a shame. The devs said you can have a ranged weapon in one hand, and a melee in another, so the dual wielding aspect is there but limited.

Iv had an itch for more dungeon crawler sword/board games so im gonna get it, looks good enough.
Although I think the animations for the player and enemies could be sped up by at least 2x, they look way too slow. But then again I havnt played it yet and the developers say its hard as fuck so maybe its necessary for the late game to have it slower.
Kinda like the weapon system too, no minmaxing with stats just 'these level 2 weapons are better than level 1, use whichever you want'.
Hope it has multiplayer for joining randoms though because

Otherwise my only real problems are the sluggish animation - which doesn't affect the pace of the game, they have no excuse for that - and the lack of BGM, both of which are by design.

I think it's going to be fun for sure, but I also think after a little while, unless the later levels are really more challenging and different, the seeming lack of content is going to kill it.
Now I'm sure they'll release more content over time (if it sells enough), but the question will be how much content, and at what price. Depending on how they answer that question, the game will either succeed or it won't.

With the jazzy beat. Instead it's all atmospheric, not something I'd especially want from a co-op game. If you think that co-op partners take games seriously, you must not have played many.

thats probably a bit unfair. diablo 2 did random dungeon generation well and that was AGES ago. chalice dungeons were just hilariously bad. they always had the same layout. but that's the devs fault, not the principle itself.
