Anybody else not able to get over his voice? The problem I have with it is that it sounds too sensual and soft like he's whispering into your ear trying to turn you on, or something. I honestly have to rub my ear because it's so painful to listen to. It's worse when he pronounces his T's & C's. He sounds like a gay man coming up behind you and grabbing your nuts and then whispering in your ear. He also sounds like he's narrating an M&S commercial. It's only beef I have with this game.

It grew on me. It's pretty much always 100% gravelly but despite that the voice actor does a decent job at portraying emotion through the gravel.
The game also does a good job of poking fun at itself by having Geralt use his hoarse-ass voice to say stupid stuff.

Maybe it's because I've always associated that voice with Geralt since the 1st witcher, but his Polish voice is too deep.
His English voice fits his looks way more. His cat eyes, long hair and triangular face doesn't suit the deep, square voice of his Polish VA.
Like I said, maybe it's because I'm too used with the soft gravelly voice, but it fits better and is more recognizable than the generic deep tough guy voice he has in Polish.

dub direction is shit. Geralt VA had to growl through the whole game, and it's hard to show emotions like that.
What's worse, in eng dub he sounds really serious all the time, rarely showing some sort of snark or sarcasm, but I feel some of his line are written to be sarcastic. I don't know how they went through dev process with great supporting cast and misdirected their main so hard.

Subtitles put me to sleep when playing for too long. Anime is nice and short, so I don't have an issue with that, but playing Yakuza was tough because I fell asleep so many times.
Never had the issue with text only though.
