how good is /v/ at rhythm games, really?
I bet I can demolish 90% of you at them
>>344646423
what a waste of time
learn an instrument
>>>/v/
>>344647730
but I'm doing that too
IIDX 9dan DP.
Most recent 12* clear was Anisakis A14, got it last night.
Spent the session playing failed charts. After getting sunk by Critical Crystal, a voice came out of nowhere to my left side.
"You're really good!"
It was a young girl standing there with her siblings. I must have looked as shocked as I felt when I spun around to see who said that. By that point it was already 130AM and there was basically nobody else inside by that point.
I said thanks, and that the game is really hard and that I've been playing it for sixteen years.
Thanks for reading my blog.

nice.

I "learned" an instrument through grade school and high school.
I could read sheet music well and could play sheet music rather well.
Take the sheet music away and I'm as helpless as someone who has never touched one.
"Learning" an instrument is pointless if you have no musical talent to properly play it.

it's o2jam on android
and I use an emulator
and I map keys to where you press the buttons.
I only really play guitar hero and rock band.
TFW I can gold star every song on expert pro drums. Even WAHNTHAC and Dream Genie.
>being good at video games
Pathetic, I'd rather be good at life.
>>344651176
Why not just play stepmania at that point?
>rhythm games autists

>>344651418
I don't know. O2Jam has a special place in my heart.
>>344646423
I finished EBA on hard rock difficulty.
>>344651483
Phone O2jam of all things at least it isn't a jubeat clone.
>>344651176
>I cheat but I'm better than you
K bro
I used to be really into rhythm games but not so much any more. Most games like diva, EBA, and theatrhythm have a low skill ceiling so they get boring. Games with really high skill ceilings, like Osu, can be frustrating. I occasionally play the Love Live game, but that's just for fun.
>>344646423
osu! here playin up to 6.5 stars
>>344647856
The hardest chart I've cleared is a 9. I'm probably still better than 99% of /v/.
>I've been playing it for sixteen years.
Wow. 16 years of constant practice, or on-and-off?
i used to be really good
could hclear 10~12s iidx
now i'm mediocre
i can't even hclear a 10 anymoreit was probably because i got addicted to shitty mobile games and stopped practicing
I used to be really good at Guitar Hero 2 and 3 but eventually the series died and my interest died with it, never played it ever again.

Pretty consistent, certainly more than any other game I've played in my life.
It's been at least an hour session daily for the past five years, and I've been with the series since 5key 2nd Mix on PS1. Have all the PS1 and PS2 games, but haven't touched them in years after having sims properly set up.
I'm fortunate to be near a Round1, which is where that all transpired this morning. Had my 499th credit on Copula by the end of the day.
Been playing for about half a year now, working through 8s and trying to clear a 9 at the moment. Also trying to do 4th dan but R5 fucks my shit up.
