The 7bucks edition comes with almost every DLC for free. Undead Nightmare (zombie apocalypse spin-off) it's the other "dlc" you could try but it's pretty meh compared to the original content.

I haven't played the DLC but from what I know it's a separate story - a what if scenario where the events of the game never happened and then zombies - and some new multiplayer modes. Looks good but can't say for myself.

No, none of it concerns the main game. Unread Nightmare is a fun standalone but not necessary, and I think the multiplayer DLC was released for free. The GOTY edition though comes with a hardcore mode which some people like
