It's just a fad. The hype is going to blow over, and then when the second crash comes Nintendo will be the only survivor, and they'll be the industry leader again just like in the 80s. You'll see!

Even after the fad is over there's no doubt Sun and Moon are going to sell a lot more copies than normal now.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for basic marketing, but I find it nice that Nintendo is actually willing to acknowledge my birth month and give me a coupon for 30 percent off a game out of a small selection.
I'll probably never use it because none of them interest me and the ones that do I already own, but still.
