I'd say it's entirely possible that they will put her in SFV. Since the game bombed hard they're desperately looking for the way to change that. In fact they've already started adding lewd costumes to lure waifu fags into the game. Why not add Ingrid in the roaster too at this point. Out of the entire main cast, Sakura and Akuma are by far the most anime. You barely see Sakura in games outside of 2 and 3. Akuma only stayed in due to edgelords, but they stopped being heavily involved in the franchise for a decade now.
Lore-wise, Ingrid is an abomination. She's some alien/god that's appearantly stronger than several of the strongest characters in Street Fighter. Even though I don't really care like I did back in the day(since fighting game stories usually suck) it doesn't forgive that her design and attack animations just furthers how lazily thrown in she was in the game. It's like if someone won an OC contest.
