now if you had a good group of friends/guildies that may not present issues, but in matchmaking dungeons or lfr thats gonna be a shitfest. allowing tanks a high level of damage avoidance/resistance and control allows a tank to control a dungeon and carry shitters through, thus helping blizzard in the long run.

I played demo earlier in WOD and it kinda sucked. If you didn't get the right ying/yang of demonic energy to molten core procs, the spec was awful. If things worked like they were supposed to (built up demon energy with shadow bolt, accumulating molten core procs, and then popping meta and dumping a bunch of soul fires) it was fun.

In Vanilla there were open world pvp raids on towns done by groups of players for the fun of it. There were HUGE raiding zones like BRD/MC. Epic and Legendary items were reserved for the best of the best. You instantly knew who the top-tier players were simply by seeing their avatars.

While I hate the casualization of WoW and how much the art style took a hit from the decent looking Mists, the actual content is a goddamn step up from Cata and Mists bullshit and I have been pleasantly surprised.
