Are there any modern MMO's similar to OSRS in that:
-Crafting and utility skills have late-game goals and activities based around it
-No (free/easy) fast travel
-Difficult, drawn out quests and feel rewarding to finish
-Small, content dense map
I love the art style and progression of OSRS but can't bring myself to do the hours of cookie clicker activities (agility) that were acceptable in 2007
no
buckle up chucklefuck
Runescape 3
I had a shit this morning that reminded me a lot of runescape.

Runescape has insane fast travel. There is not a game with more ridiculous mobility than Runescape. There's 400 million teleports, and 800 gorrillion if you have a quest cape.
>tfw playing ultimate ironman for extra dose of masochism
>already have skills in the 80s and 90s

True, but at least they aren't available at the start like most MMOs.

Not enough netflix in existence. Fishing is AFKable enough but shit like agility take just enough input that I can't focus on any other task like reading but not enough to be engaging in any way.

Yeah. I do miss Runescape's fast travel. Coming up with the ridiculous routes for tasks was fun. Nothing like using a magic ring to teleport to ogre lands to ride a giant eagle across the world to get to the desert on the other side of the world.
