How does that "very possible" confirm the other 4? Just because 3 are SE? Possible, but pretty flimsy and no real reason to believe or expect. Especially since DQ has been in Nintendo systems its entire lifespan other than VII and VIII (which are 3DS now anyway).

The Playstation era is all that shit afterwards, especially VIII. It's really not a coincidence that IX, easily the only good one, is the one that most closely resembles the classic formula and was sent out to die in favor of FFX, which was the front runner for ''''cinematic'''' experiences like TLOU, Gone Home, Limbo, Bioshock, and other non games.
Final Fantasy has been a decaying brand for years, specifically because the people that made those games great have moved on to other things. It's really sad that a budget game made by the creator for the console these games should be on, The Last Story, feels more like a Final Fantasy game than anything that has come out since IX.
Nobody 'likes' modern Final Fantasy, just like nobody actually like Playstation. They are just invested in the brand because they are told they should be if they want to be a part of 'nerd' culture.

It started on the Super Famicom. And it was moved away from the N64 because CD-ROM was the only format in use at the time that the game would fit on. Sony didn't buy it away from Nintendo, they bought it away from the other companies running CD-ROM based consoles at the time.
