Theres hardly any roleplay in this game at all. Any roleplay you want to have has to be super imposed based on your own arbitrary limitations. There is no good and evil, you can't smite half the evil shit in the game because its all quest-line characters.

Requiem for Skyrim gets rid of the level scaling I believe, but it's kind of excessive in my experience, and it makes it kind of boring as shit because the game was just made from the ground up to scale with your character.

Well, only way to roleplay is to limit yourself.
I did a priest of Stendarr run which was pretty fun. One handed mace in the right hand, magic in the left. No "evil" magic like summoning, only healing, shields, destruction, and alteration.
I also did a passive aggressive run that was quite a bit of fun. Sneaking mage, unable to use any direct damage spells or weapons. Most of my time was using summons to fight for me, raising the bodies of the dead to fight their former comrades, fury to make enemies fight each other, and other shit like that. Forced you to bumrush hideouts before the raise dead spell wore off. Some fights like boss fights are impossible, and others like dragon priests are tedious as shit, but overall it was a very different experience.
You can't roleplay in Skyrim. You are forced to play as a prisoner that somehow got caught by Imperial and somehow got saved by the villain of the game. You play as a pre-defined dragonborn. There are no quests that impact the game world and the story line.

other than you being captured and you being dragonborn you're a blank slate, so the things you roleplay could have massive story implications, like your character could be the first dragonborn to retire and start a farm or the first dragonborn to be a jarl/king/emperor after your playthrough/story is done
personally in my character storylines i always become the emperor and declare war on the thalmer and win, letting talos get worshipped again which is pretty signifigant if you ask me

Does the Dark Brotherhood lend itself well to a charismatic serial killer roleplay? I want to be a sneaky murderer, but also a skilled diplomat and tradesman.
There's literally nothing you can do to make Skyrim an enjoyable experience. Just give up.

With mods you have even more freedom. There's just not enough sandbox open-world RPG games, and the only one coming outin a few more decadesis Bannerlord.
