I'm using a shitty keyboard with missing keys and some shitty Sharkoon mouse but had zero trouble playing PC on my couch for all these years.
Also, that shit looks uncomfy as fuck. Might as well sit at a desk.

I knew some guys back in the day that played Quake competitively with trackballs and did pretty well. The Steam Controller is the first gamepad that's felt natural to me for FPS games. I don't think I'd use it to play a competitive game I was taking seriously, but then I wouldn't use a wireless keyboard and mouse for that either, I'd rather sit up close with my proper keyboard and mouse.
For $35 the Steam Controller is a great deal if you can pick it up on sale.
