MGS2 has a mind-fucking plot that is on top of all vidya plots, you know? It is a story about Kojima, MGS, vidya as an industry, folk who play vidya and want vidya, maymays (sorry), and a sci-fi digital world strikingly similar to our own. On top of that, it plays fantastically, it's so much fun, but that's not as important to why it's amazing. It's basically MGS1 but with a bunch of cool shit too. And a sword! Only thing wrong is protagonist, but I'm okay with him since Jack is a better protagonist for MGS2's story than Solid. It's 4 am. Why did I do this? I probably put E in too. Fuck it.

Miyamoto did Mario again amazingly in this vidya. Jumping platforms can act as a fantastic part of vidya, and this vidya can do it good. So many roads to a goal that you can your own path through boss fights and bonus radical tubular star roads. Yoshi plus cloth on your back also act as good ways with which to go through said pathways, and is a cool thing for happy fun.
All in all, a fantastic addition to our Mario's. Miyamoto did it again!

Star Control 2 was a program that I thought was good. It had many cool things in it, such as Orz, which is an odd thing that is sort of a singular organism but also sort of not a singular organism. It was from a location that was not in a location that humans know about, but also not from a location that any smart thing knows about apart from Arilou, which do know about that location which had Orz in it.
Ur-quan took control of our galaxy, and you fight against Ur-quan to bring our galaxy back into our control, but also things occur that Ur-quan did not bring about. So, it is a story that is good, in my opinion. It is also fun to blow up bad guys using your guns on your ship. You can fly many ships with guns, and things apart from guns also.
I think that it is a thing you should play, if you want.

A lot of thought was put into how you flow from building to building, and making combat moody and satisfying. As a product built for autonomous roaming, occasionally you miss action, as it lacks stuff to do in many situations. And as for story, it's flat too, to talk truthfully. But I can look past all of that, thanks to just how much fun it is to fly and run through an urban sandbox, slashing bad guys with your crazy accumulation of armory, sword arms, giant whips and what not.
Bonus points if you can pinpoint what gaym I'm talking about without a pic. I'm too lazy to look for it.
