The worst part of Titanfall was the titans, prove me wrong.
Freerunning, 3D infantry combat with the various cards and clutter from creeps was amazingly fun, although not very conducive to competitive play. Titans were relatively slow and unmaneuverable comparatively.
Further, whenever there was a significant unbalance in titans, the game would become both unwinnable and an unfun creep farming simulation for the winning team.
The reason why I can't stand Battlefield or Call of Duty is that there's huge amounts of bullshit that can kill me without my control
From scorestreaks to tanks and jets, there are things in those games that can just accidentally kill me do to bullshit luck of the draw.
In Titanfall, you have nothing but control. If you die it is legitimately your fault and there are plenty of tools to turn around a bad situation.
I personally love Titanfall, but I could see why it didn't last very long. I am extremely hype for this next one

I would have, but the game was pretty dead on arrival for the PC. Not sure how it fared on consoles.
Also, it had like 6 maps on release and a dozen weapons. For a multiplayer-only game that's pretty sad.
If they can add more maps on release, maybe it won't die so fast. Also, I have a dream of higher tic servers to compensate for the crazy movement, but that will never happen.
I just wish their main draw to the game, Titans, weren't also the worst part of the game.

Because EA decided to release T2 right next to BF1 to compete with Infinite Warfare.
The sequel can be the best game in the world and it would still be suicide releasing it next to both of these Juggernauts because they have more fame and better marketing but since they want to snag the people that want to buy IW and bring them to T2, they're risking T2 from being a huge flop, making the target audience think the game sucks when in reality it was released in the worst possible time, imo they should've released it in august.
EA fucked up the marketing for Mirrors Edge Catalyst as well and a lot of people aren't even aware it's out, that's how bad their marketing currently is.
I am actually looking forward to it despite the first one lacking a lot of content when it came out because I saw the potential it had, and I'm not talking about no campaign, they better prove themselves on this none, I can look past how dated it looks if the gameplay is good and has content to keep me going.
