The idea of durability is fine, if you could repair or get them repaired. They are "uses" not "durability" same concept except you can't repair at all and they are doomed to go away.

That's what I hated in awakening the most. The map fucked the flow of everything so bad. I prefer the structure of chapters with little to no grinding being possible. The map (and being piss easy) is one of the reasons I didn't like FE8 as much, despite being an overall solid game. Can't wait to play conquest which seems to go back later to a chapter based campaign.

Depends if you use it a lot and have the money. There isn't much unique software for the N3DS but it can make playing games like Smash 3DS a lot easier as well as having longer battery life and functionality.
That said I would suggest the N3DS XL as it has a much longer battery life and a much easier amiibo interaction, as well as having Xenoblade Chronicles exclusive to it. Also Hyrule Warriors works brill on it.
Freeshop keeps crashing as soon as I open it, and I don't know why. Everything's updated.

I'm thinking of picking up an n3DS and at least 2-3 games for it. I used to have a 3DS XL, but I got rid of it in late 2014 so the last game I played on it was Smash Bros.
What 2-3 games would you recommend I pick up with it? I don't like Monster Hunter, and as much as I like Persona, I'm not a fan of dungeon crawlers either so I'm not really interested in Persona Q. I'd be completely fine with just picking up first party games.

Controls don't use the ccp/c stick or stylus. Map is on the bottom screen. When you suck or blow with R youre stuck on that axis so you cant move around 360 degrees. You use the face buttons to aim the vacumm

super mario is disappointing because it's like a very very light version of the good modern marios. levels don't seem to be more than a minute or two long and are very straightforward. so i guess it's a pacing issue, i could never really get into it.
rune factory 4 is just a bit of a mess? i was expecting quirky B-level enjoyment but i think i spent the majority of my time with the game pounding on the a button trying to get through dialogue boxes. there's no real style or art direction and the mixture of really shallow combat parts or really shallow harvest moon parts didn't really click with me.
Pocket Card Jockey, and SMT IV. Both have been a blast.

If you're into games like Transport Tycoon, check out A-Train City Simulator 3D on the 3DS. It's one of the better versions of the game and in addition to its pretty deep and complex gameplay, the 3DS version offers extensive (about ten hours) of tutorials that lay the game out very clearly and in an engaging fashion.
Highly recommend this hidden gem. It is gonna kick your ass though if you don't do the tutorials. You've been warned!
