Can someone explain Fortitude and Potence to me? Trying to decide between playing a Brujah or a Venture.
Potence says it adds five to all physical stats and makes your attacks unblockable, but is it subject to being capped at 5? Fortitude is pretty simple, it just straight up prevents damage, but does it fall off lategame?

First time playing it randomly rolled me as nosferatu but I got a glitch where teng is just not where he is supposed to be (I think maybe related to the unofficial patch) so I have to start all over again.
Do I start again as nosferatu or is it worth doing another? It got kinda annoying how inconsistant the masquerade violations were
I hate Hollywood because it's ro fucking riddled of game-breaking bugs you gotta do backup saves every 5 minutes. Like that glitch where the computers in the cybercafe get swapped for a random other item for no reason. I've seen them turn into computer chairs, sewer pipes, ammo boxes and Imalia posters successively, making them completely unusable and keeping you from progressing the main quest.

Search for some pdf, you can torrent pretty much all of them since theres various torrent package. It will seem like a lot, but start by what interest you the most, like your favorite clan book, etc.

And yes,you could try doing as someone else other than Nosferatu for your 1st playthorugh so you can explore the city better.
Also you should kind of avoid Malkavian for the 1st playthrough too.

Nos is a unique play through due to being a walking masquerade violation. IT's recommended for like a 3rd and on time since it hinders you a bit. Ventrue and Toreador will be the best Vanilla experiences.
It's a game that begs for multiple play throughs since I've played maybe a dozen times and still find something new.

If you max out your basic defense skills you're basically bullet proof. Fortitude lets you reduce aggravated damage I think but the only enemy that hits very hard with that is the werewolf and good luck killing him in a fight.

According to canon Caine is supposed to be sitting in a cave doing fuck all while Bloodlines happens. But what people forget is that tabletop games are supposed to be fucked with so Caine being in Bloodlines is a-okay. Redemption had characters out of when they were supposed to be according to canon too.
