i think its pretty okay, im already a lvl 17 and ive only played 5 hours so i think they made it too easy but i guess its a good thing

It's not that they made it too easy but that xp sharing system is bugged. You don't get a 100% xp for shared resources, tools, ect. You can get to ridiculously high levels by just dying several times with resources on you.
God damn this game updates frequently, i started steam and i gotta download 1.8gb just to update this game.

If you're completely new join a very low population server. To answer your second question, Rust can be played solo but don't expect to get far by yourself if you are new. The saying applies in Rust, strength in numbers.
Is there any good server that has no big clans or some policy against those?
Or maybe a server full of people from /v/?
And yeah, teaming up with 3 ~ 4 people is fine, but if you team up with 20 you are just killing the game

The problem with this game remains the same: Zerg groups will always dominate servers and nothing can protect you from getting raided by zergs overnight.
The meta is recruitment and most of it takes place out of game. This is bad design. It's a shame because the core gameplay is nice, it's just ruined when you play on populated server. Join a large clan or die.

This would make the game more fun and allows you to run over people and destory weak buildings, with a cost.
I stopped playing this because of the optimization, I am forced to play on the lowest settings while rocking a GTX 760 (which allows me to play high settings on games like Battlefield 4 if 1080p)

This is not true
I have been recluited into clans before in-game, but i always had to use team-speak with them or just live with the fact that i couldnt hear shit from them.

Wanna know what protects you from a zerg group? Another Zerg group, i have made friendships with neighbors if you will who lead me to bigger clans.
I just payed small amounts of "tribute" and they would let me build near them and defend my house with the addition of trading between me and them.
I was living very comfy in my house next to a big ass base of rape, eventually i started gathering people around the beach to make a small village (multiple small houses, wooden walls around), got into a fight with the clan and we made a deal of having the small village of 6 people paying tribute to them in exchange of protection.
In the end we just ended up in crossfire of a big war between the clan that protected us and another big ass clan that attacked where we just fucking saw hell break lose on all sides.
We ended up "winning" since the clan and my small group ended up raiding their base when they were down on resources.
In my opinion, everything that i have done in Rust has been very organic type of gameplay with social interaction and a fuckload of bandits.

On Seattle 1 small there was 2 huge groups, anarchy and a clan that owned the "state". It was pretty fucking hilarious because my fuckhuge base was right in between them and somehow we had 5x as many resources as both of them and we funded both sides' war against eachother. Best fucking rust playthrough ever. Then the japs came in and we united all 3 nations to wipe them out. That was crazy, while raiding them all 20 of them logged on and would run at you with rocks and spears.

I was begin killed by them like 2 times, i knocked at their doorstep with around 2k of wood and told them that is my tribute for them, i crouched down and started doing some sort of praise to the guy at the doorstep that had a gun pointed at me.

Story time?
Once Our base was getting shot at out of nowhere, We saw the people shooting us and opened fire. Since our bases were closeby we just took potshots at one another. One of them ran up to us and started Screaming about how we shot them with a rocket launcher (we didn't). we talked it out and found out there was another guy in the middle who was messing with both of us. We decide to ally and track down the fucker, We find his base and destroy it together and split the loot. After that we opened up trade and defended eachother from attackers.
