Michael gets bullet time so you can line up shots that would be much harder otherwise.

Trevor gets legitimate invincibility that lasts roughly 30 seconds, long enough to massacre whatever's attacking you.

Franklin's slow-mo driving while not necessary is fun as fuck to mess around with while cruising.

I don't think they're useless.

Michael's slows down time on foot, Franklin's slows down time in vehicles, and Trevor's turns him into a tank, high damage and high defense. Gun fights are too easy, so I used Franklin's the most. You can make sharp turns without really losing any speed.

Yeah Franklin's ability makes driving almost too easy. You can drive through intersections and not have to worry about hitting cars.
