I think the healer is probably the only one qualified to complain about their team. Not to say they're always in the right, believe me I've seen my share of shitty braindead healers, but sometimes as a healer there's only so much you can do and the rest is on your team. It always feels like yeah I'm a major part of the team and I'm keeping everyone alive but beyond that I have no control over the game.

I have gotten REALLY good at baiting Reinhardts into charging to get the discord on them. Also you just need a single flanker to make Rein turn his shield a bit in most cases. He's not that difficult to take down as Zenyatta. IMO Zarya is much harder.

To be fair, with Mercy + Lucio you're gaining survivability but losing 2 entire characters for DPS other than Mercy's damage boost.
With a Mercy + Zen you're gaining less suitability, but far more DPS. Zen hits as hard as a regular offence, and then you have Discord on top of that.
There's pros and cons to both options, neither one is constantly the better option than the other.

Basically Zen is good at healing spread out teams, people like snipers, or deep flankers. Where Lucio would be unable to do anything, and Mercy would have to fly to them risking her life or risking the life of the group she left, Zenyatta can toss them an orb and keep doing his thing. He's easily the most flexible healer of the 3.
Also nothing beats nullifying Graviton surge + Visor + Dragonstrike with his ult. Greatest "Nope" ever.

I didn't say it was ebin heals. It's a heal with practically unlimited range that continues to heal 3 seconds after loss of LoS. That can keep spread out team healed up where a Lucio or Mercy couldn't. I've seen many pushes or defenses fail because the Lucio is unable to keep people in range, and the Mercy is too busy commuting from person to person to keep heals flowing.

The problem is right now he's a bit underpowered in terms of suitability and teams don't want to build a comp around anti-flankers. It's easier to just double Lucio and keep everyone in a tight group. The problem for Zenyatta is the meta for tight grouping is too good right now which makes him the worst healer for that situation.

Large hitbox, doesn't move his limbs like a retard when moving (basically a floating brick) and 150 hp, food for any flanker in the game and disgustingly easy to hit compared to almost everyone else who isn't a tank.
His "insane dps" as people call it isn't spectacular. Horrible projectile speed and hitbox (compared to others) and rank 8 in dps of all chars isn't spectacular. He got sustained damage though due to 20 shots
Healing orb simply heals to little per second and requires LoS, also has a bit of travel time makes it the worst heal in the game.
Discord orb is a good ability but requires zen to be in LoS again which is not good because of his hitbox/hp.
His ultimate is very lackluster, while 100hp/s sounds amazing it's very situational, most 150/200 hp heroes dies even when they're in it because of burst damage and it takes considerably more effort to charge than mercy's revive
Even if you do get an anti flanker team there's no reason to pick zenyatta over any other character more specialised to deal damage or heal (heck he's basically a s76 lite). I honestly don't know what they can do to make him even relevant in higher skill games without making him stupid strong.

D.Va is great for slipping behind the enemy team and throwing them into disarray or capturing points. The enemy team usually looses their shit when they are all in the front and they see their point is getting captured, so they all run to it. Your team will of course promptly shoot them in the ass. I've won lots of games this way. Also she has the best ult cancel in the game.
She's just not meant to be played as a tank, but more as a heavy disruptor. I really don't see why people prefer Winston over her since she has more mobility and her defense matrix has, in my experience, been more useful than his bubble shield.
