Rhythm game
You play as Jack and your primary purpose is exploration and finding info in the fucked up apu future. So you go around various regions questioning people and doing side quests to help the local people. The combat revolves around fast movement and deadly moves so everyone has a low HP pool for the most part, Jack included.
Your long term goal is to become a local icon while you're fending off various apu agents and bounty hunters, leading you to finally reach Apu and maybe exact your revenge

Furi honestly feels pretty similar to what I want.
Very slow and thoughtfully paced out of combat, very fast and violent in combat. Probably no gun elements though, unless you're going with new samurai jack where he actually does have a gun
