Hey guys, Support Gunner here with a couple questions;

>For non-support players what do you want from your support gunner as far as gadgets and general play style? (I'd appreciate it if you mentioned what class you main).

>For my fellow support gunners, which gadgets do you prefer, and how do you use those assualt rifle hybrid weapons? I find them extremely awkward.

Thanks in advance for the feedback and remember...

>...It's funner as a machine gunner.

I've given serious thought to running Ammo Crate and Ammo Box with the indirect fire upgrades.

What are some games where being a support gunner actually makes feel good and like a credit to your team?

I really dig it in Battlefield 4.

In COD the LMGs are actually very underrated. They are actually awesome.

Hey guys, attack helicopter here with a couple questions

>For non attack helicopters, how do you soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners

>For my fellow attack helicopters, how did you get a plastic surgeon to install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body

Thanks in advance for the feedback and remember...

>If you can’t accept me you’re a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding.

They're all about suppressing the target to let your teammates flank the enemy, You're just supposed to get bullets down range, no matter if you're hitting the target or not.

Suppression is key as support class. You'd wanna be shooting at the enemy position in order for your teammates to push without getting mowed down by the enemy.

Arma now has actual suppression (without mods) and tracers are ease to read so people can see what you are suppressing

Squad feels pretty good, although its against people so less are likely to duck and more likely just to headshot you

I remember when I first tried the MG42 in that, went prone on the last wave of defense at the back of that beach/bunker map. I think I got 20 -25 kills just the end of the match. It's truly powerful.
>>
>>344126848
Machine guns in Squad are a fucking joke. There's no suppression in that game besides some chromatic aberration applied to your screen when you get shot at, and there's no option to run without tracers so as soon as you fire one round you're dead because every soldier on the enemy team will see it from a mile away.

Any proper game that isn't battlefield:

Big MG with big ass box-mag and a lot of rounds.

The weird hybrids are weird.

Suppressing fire everywhere. If you aren't complaining that you're constantly running out of ammo, you're doing it wrong.
>>
>>344121628
I typically use the M249 or MG4 with a heavy barrel, vertical grip and a laser sight. The heavy barrel increases accuracy and reduces bullet spread while shooting on the move like the vertical grip, so using both attachments allows you to run and gun like Rambo. I like to get behind enemy lines on maps like Operation Locker and clear out choke points while the enemy's backs are turned. It's fun to mow down whole squads without having to reload.
>>
>>344131558
I can't decide whether the A-10 Warthog or the F-22 is cooler than the other. The F-22 is such a capable machine and the iconic fighter jet of the 21st century. And yet, the Warthog has such a unique and venerable identity combined with decades of terrifying firepower and proven experience that it's difficult to decide.

I wish they'd stop spending so much money on the F-35 program. I'm excited for a possible revival in NASA's X-Planes. Perhaps we'll see reconnaissance or surgical strike planes that can circumnavigate the entire globe in a single flight.

The Vietnam war was winding down and the AH-56 was still in development, there probably wouldn't be a need for a helicopter of its kinda shortly afterwards, AH-1's were already in service and battle-tested, also a little controversy involving the USAF and the AH-56's role. It just doesn't make sense to invest in the AH-56 when there's no foreseeable use for it and it definitely wouldn't be developed fast enough or be suitable for the current war to replace the already battle-tested AH-1.
